NKP Salve Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre and Lata Mangeshkar Hospital Nagpur, one of the renowned medical colleges in Maharashtra, was indeed founded in the year 1990. It has an integrated and lush 68-acre campus and conducts various co-educational programmes in medicine. Accredited by NAAC and permitted by the NMC, the institute has really made a name in the field of medical education. With a total student enrolment of 811 and 224 faculty, it was giving an ambience that was best suited towards learning and research.

The NKP Salve Institute conducts education in the many undergraduate, postgraduate, and super-specialty courses in medicine. The flagship course is the MBBS, which has an intake of 200 per year. The postgraduate programmes offered by the institute include MD and MS in many varied streams, such as general medicine, general surgery, anaesthesiology, , obstetrics, and gynecology.
