About Government Medical College & Hospital
Government Medical College, Bettiah was established in the year 2008. Bettiah Medical College functions under the Health Department of the Government of Bihar and is a premier institution of the Government of Bihar. The institute is affiliated with Aryabhath Knowledge University, Patna and approved by the Medical Council of India. GMC Bettiah offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses to the students.
GMC Bettiah courses consist of a Medical Laboratory Technology Diploma (DMLT) course, an MBBS programme, and MS/MD courses. The MS and MD programmes are offered in disciplines like Paediatrics, Anatomy, Physiology, Ophthalmology and more. Government Medical College, Bettiah course admissions are entrance and merit-based. Candidates are required to take the respective UG/NEET PG to get admission.
