Established in August 2012, SAHEED HASAN KHAN MEWATI GOVT MEDICAL COLLEGE, NALHAR is the Medical College of Haryana and the first in the Distt of Mewat. Presently It admits 120 students for MBBS course every year. SAHEED HASAN KHAN MEWATI Hospital is the affiliated teaching hospital and has about 645 beds equipped with all modern facilities.

It came into existence in 2012 through a Government of Haryana Legislative Assembly (Medical Facilities to Members) Act, 1986 and The Haryana Legislative Assembly (Medical Facilities to Members) Rules, 1988. The University imparts Undergraduate medical education (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery). The college is accredited by the Medical Council of India.
